A Day @ the Pumpkin Patch

It’s fall around here and that means the leaves fall, the pool gets closed and the Williamson’s take a family trip to the pumpkin patch.

We met up with Grandma and Grandpa for a fun day filled with a trip through the corn maze, eating rock candy and picking out pumpkins to paint and carve.  We shot the corn cannon, ate corn dogs and just had a blast together.

It was refreshing to have no cellphones, no schedules and no drama.  Just a day full of beautiful weather and time spent with family.

It was a Gift to unplug and enjoy this season of transition.

I Got Your Back

I am blessed to live in a house with 2 young boys.  It doesn’t matter if it’s climbing trees in the backyard, building lego spaceships, or digging frogs out of the pool skimmer, if it’s gross, dirty or likely to cause injury….these guys are into it, and they do it together.

They’re are an amazing Gift.

Some days we just need a break from the realities of life.  Some days we just need to break free from the stress of the day.  Some days we just need to throw productivity out the window, chuck the “honey-do” list and forget about the deadlines.

Photo Gifts To Share

Tried to post this earlier today but had some network issues….sorry.

Thought we would share some photos of our gifts for today.  Reid is learning to play chess, Rylan loves puppies, Kelly got an email with the Jesus drawing…..great story, and I have been studying 1 Corinthians 13:13.

The Butterfly Roundup

Today we did something totally new for the Williamson’s. Something definitely not in our “wheelhouse”. We went butterfly hunting. This was very different from our normal hunting excursions. There were no firearms, nothing died and there were way more little girls than little boys. But have no fear…..the boys and I wore camo. Somebody had to represent for the rednecks.
